I keep checking hte forum every so often to see what's going on with Tango, but there hasn't been an update in almost a year...
I totally understand that people get busy with life, but I'm starting to think that the only reason this site is still up is because the DNS registration hasn't expired yet...
Does anyone have a server where we could mirror the Excel@Japanese files? That way, if stuff does suddenly just disappear off the net, it'll still be out there for people to use.
I'm *still* using this program to build up my vocabulary, and I'm occasionally digging into the back end code to see how stuff works in the hopes that one day I'll get enough time to start making the updates/changes that I'd like to see... but, it sure would be nice to actually hear from the developer for a change...

Not good that the developer hasn't been in touch in some time... Wasn't this supposed to be done over the summer?
Oh, and AMG, Tokyo is overrated. See you in a month. |

Thanks for everyones concern. Unfortunately, I had some large projects at work this year that took me more than full time. My schedule has now normalized, and I have restarted work on E@J. I apologize for the delays. I promise, at the least, more frequent updates.

| Its already been two months since you posted that you're back. But man, I hope its true. Your program is almost completely responsible for passing JLPT level 2 this year. Thanks a ton! |

Hey, is this project dead? If so, is it cool if I try to port it to a net app with an SQL backend? I love the idea behind this app, but I hate the crashes associated with running it through Excel. Also, I'd like to be able to drill from my non-Windows computer, and removing all references to Excel would be nice, IMO.
If I don't hear anything back on this, I'm just gonna assume that Tango is dead and I'll start developing a web based app. I'll be sure to provide all the same credits that can be found in the Excel@Japanese app.
Thanks and I hope everything is going well with you, mps!

| Still nothing new? I am a bit sad as I was hoping to use it for the JLPT this year. Maybe next year? |
